Mandarin – is a fruit of an evergreen tree of the Citrus family. China is the homeland of Mandarin, but today it's successfully grown in Spain, Algeria, Morocco, France and the Caucasus. This fruit's pulp contains sugars, organic acids, vitamins (thiamin, riboflavin, ascorbic acid, rutin). The peel contains up to 1-2% of essential oils, orange and yellow pigments, including carotene. These fruits are valuable dietary products, which increase appetite, improve metabolism, source vitamins during the winter, have a revitalizing effect on the body, and greatly boost immune system.
